· Preventing and Managing Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation in the Workplace This seminar is designed to educate managers and supervisors about California and federal employment laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and others. It uses an interactive, behavior-based approach.
The protected classes are discussed at length: race, color, ancestry, religion, national origin, age, sex (same sex sexual harassment, sexual harassment, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation), pregnancy, disability, veteran status and marital status.
The seminar will also focus on how to prevent retaliation.
